寰枢椎作为枕颈移行部,是构成头颅旋转及屈伸运动的重要结构,因其邻近颈髓、椎动脉和颈神经等重要结构,任何原因所导致的寰枢椎和韧带的损伤,均可导致寰枢椎不稳,进一步则可压迫脊髓,甚至危及生命。因此,有作者把上颈椎不稳对脊髓存在的潜在危险,称之为“上颈椎危象”^[1]。本文拟就与临床有关的寰枢椎的解剖形态结构作一文献综述。
