伤科手法的历史沿革

何谓伤科手法?顾名思义,用手来诊断(观察)、治疗伤科疾病的方法。手法最初叫按摩。按字从手从安,以手探穴而安于其上也。按者,谓以手往下压之也;摩字亦从手,摩者,谓徐徐揉摩也。一按一摩,原本是两个动作,按后除疾而安,摩后去病而安,久之,按摩合而为开通闭塞,导引阴阳的手法代名词,按摩就成为手法的专用名词了。
