目的:研究治疗老年A、B型踝关节骨折的一种手术器械的临床效果。

方法:2007年10月至2009年5月采用改良的1/3管形钢板结合拉力螺钉治疗老年踝关节骨折14例,男9例,女5例;年龄58~81岁,平均69.3岁。按Danis-Weber分类:A型6例,B型8例。采用AOFAS评分标准进行疗效评价,总结该方法的可行性。

结果:本组14例术后全部随访,骨折全部愈合,随访时间12~18个月,骨折愈合时间10~16周。术后根据AOFAS评分标准,总平均分(88.0±2.1)分。

结论:根据每例患者的情况因人因病制宜,采用外踝改良1/3管形钢板内固定是治疗老年A、B 型踝关节骨折的良好选择之一。

Modified 1/3 tubular plate and lag screw for the treatment of ankle fractures in elderly patients
ABSTRACT  

Objective: To study a kind of surgical instrument for the treatment of ankle fractures in elderly patients.

Methods: From October 2007 to May 2009,14 patients(9 males and 5 females,ranging in age from 58 to 81 years,averaged 69.3 years) with ankle joint fractures of type A and B were treated with modified 1/3 tubular plate combined with lag screws. According to the Danis-Weber classification,6 patients were type A and 8 patients were type B. The AOFAS criteria was used to evaluate clinical effects.

Results: All the patients were followed up ranged from 12 to 18 months and healed. The time of union of fractures ranged from 10 to 16 weeks. According to the clinical assess standard of AOFAS,the average score was 88.0±2.1.

Conclusion: It is one of good choices to use modified 1/3 tubular plate and lag screws to treat ankle joint fractures in elder patients.
