| Techniques of needle manipulation for the treatment of metacarpophalangeal joint dislocation |

| ABSTRACT The closed dislocation of the metacarpophalangeal joint is not common.The open-reduction is often needed to be done, owing to the speciality of its anatomical relationship.Here an experience of close reduction in success with prying and plucking manipulation,applied with Kirschner needle on 30 cases was introduced in this paper. The mechanism and procedure of this method was demonstrated with anatomical data,diagrams and typical cases and its practical value was also discussed. |
